friday
I woke up at 8am to "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees. It's my ringtone.
Justin called me to let me know to get ready to go to the beach.
I went back to sleep. Haha.
I woke up at 9am to "Stayin' Alive."
Justin was at the door.
I got ready in 10 mins.
We headed out to Newport Beach.
Between M and L Street was our usual parking spot.
We parked next to a familiar home.
Last time we parked there, construction workers were there while we were changing.
Awkward.
We walked onto the sand, a warm welcome for our feet.
The moment we heard the waves crashed, we knew it was a good day to skim.
The water was unexpectedly cold.
The fear of the first fall took over.
I got over the fear and got used to it.
Rode a few good waves.
Justin rode some pretty long liners.
A group of locals invaded our spot.
Wish we had a huge group.
Miguelli and Sam joined us a little later.
It was fun watching everyone wipe out.
I felt sore after and rested.
I got browner.
The ride back was horrible.
The longest drive I've ever experienced going back home.
57 was clogged like a gas station bathroom.
We decided to take the scenic route.
Justin fell asleep twice on the road, so I took over.
I pretty much took Brea Canyon Rd. all the way.
It took like 2 hours to get back home.
Pretty much chilled the rest of that night and knocked out.
saturday
I woke up to my dad opening the door, seeing if I was awake.
I went back to sleep.
I awoke to the laughter of my sisters.
I walked upstairs to one of their rooms, and heard something kind of disturbing.
Not to say I wasn't surprised.
I went to Salvation Army store and looked for my costumes for PCN.
Found a few things, and spent only $5!
Went back home and chilled some more.
I went to Kyle's house and played some video games and omgpop.com
After we went to Miguelli's house to chill and eat food.
I found out I was leaving to SLO tonight and just spent half an hour at Mig's.
It was a startling surprise and so I headed back home to pack.
I'm glad I didn't pack a lot.
The drive back to SLO seemed to take forever this time.
Maybe it's because I didn't sleep most of the time.
Back to SLO, and it's a new quarter.
